Facundo Masari is a curious Argentinean who studied materials engineering in Mar del Plata, Argentina, before moving to Europe. He studied a master in advance materials science and engineering (AMASE) in two universities, UPC in Spain and LTU, Sweden, where he had the chance to deepen my knowledge in materials, He got to have my hands-on innovative characterization techniques and of course, meet amazing people from all over the world while doing so.

After his bachelor´s, he worked with thermoset-carbon fibre composite materials, an area that he kept studying during my Master´s thesis, at the R&D department of a Swedish private company, GKN Aerospace. Nowadays he has switched his focus to powder metallurgy, and he is proud to be doing my PhD Thesis on high-temperature corrosion-resistant steels surrounded by top-tier professionals at the powder technology group from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
